I think I got the Eylure Chloe Morello Girl Next Door No 117 lashes from a Priceline beauty box. They are light on even though they are long and thick. I always use eyeliner when putting on lashes as it helps to hide the wire, even though the wires on these lashes are thin. Lately I've been finding the best way to apply lashes is with just my fingers then carefully using a blunt/slanted edge tweezer or similar tool to hold both ends in place. I would recommend not using the glue as there is no hold in it, instead I used leftover glue from a different set of lashes. I have used these lashes several times. I try and gently pull off as much dried up glue as I can before applying a new layer of glue. I liked these lashes but I wouldn't exactly call them "Girl Next Door".2

I've been using the Olay Regenerist Retinol24 MAX (2 x Vitamin B3+) Night Hydrating Moisturiser Fragrance Free. Vitamin B3 is Niacinamide. Fragrance doesnt bother me too much, I just happened to pick this one up. I'm not sure if its available in a fragranced version. It comes in a 48g plastic purple tub with a silver twist off lid. The cream is a thick white and I have had no troubles applying every night. I've been a regular user of retinol for a while so there was no need to build up my usage. I did accidentally apply it in the morning a couple of times and did not have any extra sensitivity issues. I'm a big fan of retinol, especially lately as I grow older and a little wiser. Its not a scary ingredient to use, there a lot of horror stories out there of when retinol usage has gone wrong, just as long as its started slowly. My face is looking plumper, smoother and less occurrence of pimples. I would definitely recommend this product.

I've been using Olay Luminous Niacinamide and Hyaluronic Acid Super Serum for about a month or more. I've only been using it on half my face and using a different serum on the other side. I like to do this sometimes to compare the results of different products ESPECIALLY if I am on a trial. The serum comes in a glass bottle with the same push button dispenser that Olay uses across most of its serum range. The dispenser delivers just the right amount of thick white serum for the one side of my face but I would need to get another dose if I was doing my entire face. It absorbs quickly and does leave my face feeling semi hydrated but it still needs a moisturiser over the top (as you would anyway with most serums). I have not had any reactions or change for the worse in skin texture. It plays well with my makeup and other layers of products. I'd purchase it again and would recommend it as a lovely light hydrating serum.

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Eye Roll-On comes in a squeezy blue 15g tube. The twist off cap reveals a silver roller ball which helps to distribute the product as well as soothe and cool my eye area. One tube has lasted me absolute ages as I only need the tiniest amount. It does take a while to absorb so I try and do other things while waiting to apply serums and moisturisers. I have had no reactions or irritations, nor any milia which can sometimes occur with eye products. It has done a good job of helping to smooth and reduce the appearance of my under eye wrinkles. I would purchase it again and would recommend it.

I purchased this Pantene Curl Affair Curl Reshaping Cream on a whim a while ago, looking for something to refresh my curls on a no hair wash day and this hair cream is Legit IT! It smells nice and is not sticky. It does not make my hair crunchy just softens and reshapes the curl, leaving my hair feeling soft and hydrated. It helps control the frizz and can be used on wet or dry hair. I use it both ways. On a no hair wash day, I spread it through my hair and then quickly run a wide tooth comb through to get rid of the knots, then scrunch it up to bring back the curl. Unfortunately a lot of the major shops and pharmacies have stopped selling this hair cream but it is still available.

Thankyou to Beautyheaven and La Roche Posay for inviting me to trial the Mela B3 Niacinamide Serum. The serum is targeted towards reducing the appearance of age spots, Sun spots and post acne marks using a relatively new ingredient called Melasyl. This has been a 12 week trial and I knew straight away that one bottle of serum was not going to be enough to last until the end so a few weeks before the end of the trial I purchased another bottle (on sale for $63.96 - it’s not a cheap serum!) The serum is in a purple glass 30ml bottle and is dispensed by way of dropper. Directions are two to three drops morning and night, after cleansing, before moisturiser. The serum is a thick pink gluggy serum and is difficult to measure out drops as it comes out in gloops. They would have done better to put a mark on the stem of the eye dropper to show two drops/three drops etc I found the serum absorbed very quickly and did not affect my makeup application. But for the first few weeks of my trial I was getting some big ugly pimples. I happened to change my moisturiser and just like that the pimples stopped coming. So something in the serum did not like something in the moisturiser. I did find after 12 weeks that my age spots have faded significantly, but not completely. I can definitely recommend it and would probably repurchase it. Maybe use it for three to four months every year to fade and keep those age spots at bay.

I've been using the Olay Luminous Niacinamide+ AHA Super Serum for over a month. It comes in a heavy glass 30ml bottle with the nifty dispenser. As you twist off the lid, it sucks up the recommended serum dose into the eye dropper which is then dispensed by a push of the silver button on the top. The serum is a cloudy white and oh my gosh it smells so good. It smells like Mango (to me). I found it to be very gentle on my skin and absorbed quickly. I used it morning and night. My skin looks clear and smooth. I don't think it has done much to reduce the appearance of my malasma/age spots compared to other serums. I would purchase it again but unfortunately there are so many other serums on the market I want to try and I only have one face so I can't say I'd definitely purchase it again but I'd definitely recommend it.

Thankyou to Beautyheaven and Bed Head for asking me to trial the Resurrection Super Repair Conditioner. The conditioner is targeted towards weak and brittle hair. The conditioner is white and super thick (which I prefer) and comes in a generously sized 750ml plastic bottle with a press top cap which can be screwed off. It has a lovely fragrance but I find that it doesn't linger in my hair for long. I've only been able to use it about four to five times as its been a short trial and because my hair is dry, frizzy and curly, professionals don't recommend washing hair too frequently. I've always had moulting hair from a child to an almost mid century adult which I suppose is due to weak and easily breakable hair so a conditioner like this would be good for my hair. I've enjoyed using this conditioner but its way too early to tell whether its made any improvement to hair weakness and breakage. I don't frequently straighten my hair but this past weekend I chose to and the results were good, no frizz etc but that could be due to a number of different factors not necessarily this conditioner but my hair has not felt or looked dry whilst using this conditioner. I couldn't say at this point in time whether I would purchase or not as I haven't used it for long enough. I have no problem recommending it as a good conditioner.

The shampoo comes in a large 750ml plastic bottle with a press top screw on lid. It smells lovely but the scent does not linger in my hair. I've only been able to use it about four to five times as its been a short trial and I only wash my hair twice a week, sometimes three times. Its a white pearly coloured shampoo which is nice and thick and produces a good lather. I suppose I do have brittle weak hair as I have always moulted hair. Unfortunately the length of the trial has not been long enough to deduce whether this has assisted in improving weak hair. My immediate results were fine though. Not overly hydrating but not drying either. I couldn't say at this point in time whether I would purchase it or not. I'd have no problem in recommending it as a good shampoo.

The Nivea Q10 Energy anti-wrinkle Day Cream is an SPF15 cream. I've been using it in the mornings and applying after cleansing and serum. It comes boxed, in a 50ml plastic tub with a twist off lid. It has a lovely smell. I'm one of those persons that doesn't mind fragrance in their skincare products. I dab a bit onto different areas of my face before smoothing in. It feels a little heavy to start with and I didn't really like it on warmer mornings because at first it would make me feel like I was sweating more, but once absorbed it was fine. My 49 year old skin feels soft after using but I would probably prefer to use more in the cooler months when I don't have to worry so much about upper lip perspiration. I would purchase it and would recommend it.
